My paintings are inspired by the landscape and nature around me. I especially enjoy wide open skies and capturing the atmosphere glimpsed when the sun shines through stormy clouds. The different shapes and textures visible when the sun shines on a field, a building or a tree is magical and it is this feeling I want to show through my paintings.
Although I have painted lots in watercolour I also enjoy other mediums and experimenting mixing different paints together allowing the paint to do what it wants!
I paint for myself, galleries and welcome commissions. I am also available to demonstrate to groups and tuition.
